The birth of the child would make her spouse even more violent while Marsela would experience an even greater pain when the child was diagnosed with epilepsy and autism.
The violence reached its extreme when her husband and father tried to kill the young bride, after which Marsela left and asked the police for help. After serving a sentence for his acts, the husband returned even more violent.
Marcella is now afraid to take to the streets and, above all, has no economic means to pursue her son’s medical therapies. She says that even the child’s social and medical assistance is taken by the abusive father.
