As announced, the Prosecution brought at the Court of Serious Crimes one
of the strongest evidence in the trial against Arben Frroku, accused
for the murder of Dritan Lamaj.
The cameras of journalists were not allowed to film any of the three videos seized as evidence from the security cameras around the crime scene, showing the moment when the Chief of Police were killed, but many of them filmed it with their phones.
The video shows a BMW passing several times in front of Lamaj’s house, before his murder.
While Lamaj was trying to park his vehicle, shots were fired from the BMW. Lamaj left his car and was able to move only for a few steps before falling on the ground, lifeless.
For Prosecutor Anton Martini, it is very important that the eye witness seen in the camera, now under government protection, identified Arben Frroku as the killer.
The witness will be brought next week to testify. Frroku insulted the witness and asked the judge if he had anything personal against him, saying that he has been held in prison for 17 months while the killers are outside.
