Six days after a decision of the Constitutional Court, which suspended
the implementation of the Vetting Law, the rapporteurs for the Council
of Europe requested more information about the situation at the Minister
of Justice, Ylli Majani.

During the meeting with Andrej hunko and Joseph Oreilly, Manjani declared that they have taken an important step from the political point of view, as long as there was no division about the justice reform.

As for the implementation of the reform, which should have started with the Vetting Law that was suspended, they need to wait for an opinion from the Venice Commission.

Another matter of discussion was the new law for the compensation of former owners, another topic for which the officials of the Council of Europe showed interest during the meeting with Minister Manjani.
