Vetting Law was voted. No more obstacles for cleansing the judiciary
17/06/2017 00:00
The Vetting Law was voted this Saturday, and there seems to be no other
political obstacle for cleansing the judiciary system from corrupted
judges and prosecutors.
The Parliamentary Commission voted the 12 members of the Independent Qualification Commission, two public commissioners and their vices.
The persons appointed are not very known in politics, except for Pal Shkembi, who is the leader of a party that is oriented towards Christian-Democrats. However, this cannot stop the commission from doing its work.
The recently increased electoral tones between parties didn’t affect the votes of Parliament Members.
