For the Albanian Prime Minister, the opposition has abandoned the
Parliament with the only purpose because they don’t want the Vetting
Law.
“They are tied by sin with the corrupted judiciary. Losing control over the judiciary, would make their sins be exposed. They keep talking about crime, drug, and yet they refuse to select 50% of the Vetting Law commissioners. They are not using the chance given to them by the Constitution. Who let them out? They say the fight against crime is not about courts and prosecution. It’s about the central government. How is that possible?”, Rama said.
The Albanian Prime Minister said that the majority is determined to make way for the Vetting Law, although the opposition has been boycotting the Parliament for the past two weeks.
Rama said that the judiciary needs to be cleaned as soon as possible, as the only way to make way for reforms and economic development.
