The Constitutional Court has started the translation of the Vetting Law,
a process that takes place with every material that this court sends
for an opinion at the Venice Commission.

Different from other cases, there have been requests to accelerate the work with the Vetting Law, so that the justice reform is not delayed and its implementation starts as soon as possible.

However, Top Channel has learned that the translation is not ready yet and the material will not be sent to Venice within this week.

Sources at the Constitutional Court confirmed for Top Channel that the Vetting Law will be sent to Venice as it is translated by the Court’s experts.

In fact, the first original copy of the Vetting law is actually in English, because it has been processed by one of the experts at the EURALIUS mission, which gave the final confirmation during August, when the extraordinary session for its approval was supposed to be appointed

Due to the suspension of the Vetting Law, the audit of the wealth and image of judges and prosecutors is actually impossible.

Only the Venice Commission can make way for the Constitutional Court to issue a final verdict.
