The law for turning the Kosovo Security Forces into an Armed Forces,
without the votes of the Serbian Parliament Members, will be ready
within a few days after an unanimous decision of the Kosovo Parliament,
according to Speaker Kadri Veseli.
“Our partners certainly want consensus, and that would be the best option. But if there is no consensus, we will amend the Constitution. The transformation of the Kosovo Security Forces will be made based on the law. There is a misunderstanding about it, because its military competences will be given based on the law”, Veseli declared.
As for the resolution approved yesterday by the Parliament of Kosovo, he said that it didn’t require to terminate dialogue with Serbia, but to suspend it as result of Serbia’s intervention in Kosovo’s internal affairs.
