A massive action for the demolition of some illegal constructions has started this Thursday at the Velipoja beach.
165 illegal buildings will be razed down by the Construction Police, in cooperation with the Velipoje commune and the support of the Shkoder Police Directory.
The demolition of these constructions, according to the commune, will open way to the investments in the drinking water and sewage canalization, which do not exist in this area.
The first phase of this 15 million USD investment that has started in the recent months, has been financed by the World Bank.
20 constructions were demolished today, while the action will continue until all 165 objects will be destroyed.
