The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, inaugurated the Kosova School, taking pride in the fact that it was built on the ruins of an old school, on the same site where the previous Mayor had planned an apartment building .
The school will welcome 400 students and it is the fourth new school that is being added to Tirana.
“The old school was demolished in an unprecedented way. The past government wanted an apartment building, but we turned it to its previous identity, we made it a school. At the end of the day it is not a matter of words, but deeds, and the concrete projects that remain in the end”, Veliaj said.
