Families and people in need may stay at Tirana’s social centres during Ramadan, as the municipality makes sure that during this month of sacrifice and solidarity no one stays without a warm meal, offering “iftar” every evening for people in need.
Mayor Erion Veliaj; Socialist MP Blerina Gjylameti and two famous singers, Irma Libohova and Era Rusi, served iftar dinner to the people in need at the Kombinat social home.
The Mayor added that the municipality, in cooperation with several donators, has also distributed food packages for 3500 families in need during Ramadan.
