The candidate of the Socialist Party for the Tirana Municipality, Erion
Veliaj, gave a strong and clear message about the debate related to the
Don Bosko Cultural Center.
“I will never give a construction permit at the Don Bosko Center. We will not allow what was done with the Tirana Mosque”, Veliaj declared, and spoke with the same determination about the Lake area.
“No more constructions near the Artificial Lake. That’s it!”.
According to Veliaj, the Democratic Party makes campaign by talking about their rival’s families, while the Socialists will work with all families of Tirana.
He accused Basha of giving a permit for adding a 13th floor to the apartment building he lived, and accused Shkelzen Berisha for the new construction at the lake.
Veliaj made these declarations during a meetin in Dajt, which is now united to the new municipality of Tirana.
Veliaj visited Unit 4 this afternoon, where he continued with the presentation of a concrete program for the changes they promise to do in the area. One of the main problems is that of damaged roads.
Veliaj also announced a decision of the Minister of Culture to return the green spaces of the former Kinostudio o the residents of this unit.
