Veliaj: More funds for former political prisoners

The issue of the compensation for former political prisoners was
discussed in a meeting of the Minister of Labor and Welfare, Erjon
Veliaj, in Lushnje, where he met a group of representatives of this
category.

Veliaj said that the compensation fund for 2015 has increased.

“Despite the pressure to reduce spending, the only spending that was increased for the next year was that of the political prisoners”, Veliaj declared.

The fourth installment of the payments for the former political prisoners will start in the next month.
