The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, promise that 2020 will bring a series of important projects for the city, starting with the National Theater, the Pyramid, the Tirana Ring Road, the Lana River, the Economic Area in Kashar, etc.
Veliaj expressed his determination to go through with the projects that will transform Albania’s capital.
“I am determined and I believe that we will go to the end of any project that transforms Tirana and that makes it better for our children. We have often seen that for every major project, like the protests for the playground at the Grand Lake of Tirana, and the Skanderbeg Square, there will be groups of individuals who want to stop the city’s progress. This is their fashion riht now. Whenever a major work is being done, they create a small group that opposes it and going against the silent majority by trying to stop the development of Tirana”, Veliaj declared.
