The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, accompanied by the Municipal Council Chairman, Aldrin Dalipi, inspected the reconstruction works for the “Dogana” residence block, where 35 road segments were rebuilt, including the underground infrastructure and a new aqueduct system.
Veliaj underlined that this is the time that whoever wants to do something for Tirana, should cooperate beyond political affiliations.
“Some are not happy that things are going well with our city, but a city that is cleaner, with people being kinder to each other, is a better city for them as well. Those who could have done something when they had the chance, they should keep cooperating with us beyond political affiliations”, Veliaj said.
The Mayor added that he is optimistic that the noisy minority that is trying to sabotage the city will contribute for the capital of Albania.
“We haven’t seen this spirit yet, but I am hopeful that the noisy minority that wants to sabotage or work, they have the chance to join us”, Veliaj said.
