Veliaj in electoral meetings in Tirana; Invites Democrats to join the SP

The SP candidate for Tirana, Erion Veliaj, met with the residents of unit no. 4 in the capital, where he said that the area known as ‘Bregu i Lumit’, today is the most beautiful postcard, which shows what socialists can do when they are on top of things.

Veliaj said that even when he was in the opposition, he did not hesitate to work to clean the city.

“We were in power in 2015 when we started the campaign and as part of our campaign we kept collecting garbage in front of the Faculty of Medicine, because nothing was cleaned in this city then.

“Being in the opposition did not prevent us from cleaning and planting trees”.

He then stopped at the Berisha-Meta coalition, saying that all polls declare the Socialist Party the winner, while Ilir Meta is said to be the most hated man in Albania.

“Berisha has joined the neighborhood spy, the former ‘Sigurimi’ guard who spied on people when they put illegal TV antennas”, he stated, referring to Meta.

All polls about Ilir Meta say that he is the most hated man today. And as long as the people who have done the most harm to Albania have come together, today even the democrats must join us to move forward”, he added.

The candidate for Tirana thanked the democrats who have chosen to join the Socialist Party. “I have been in the neighborhood several times and I have met many democrats, who are probably not ready to appear on camera, but are ready to vote for the Socialist Party because they have understood that the socialist family is the most important thing.

With our heads held high, we say: Come to our family, join us, so that we can work and move forward, never go back”.
