After her excellent performance on Tirana’s Skanderbeg Square, the Mayor of Tirana has given the City’s Key to Eleni Foureira, the singer of Albanian origin who represented Cyprus at the Eurovision.
“The key of Tirana is for very special people, showing that our doors are always open to them. You are part of our family and we are happy for what you do. Not only as a great artist but also as a great person”, Veliaj said.
Foureira said she was happy about the Key, and underlined that she was always very proud to be Albanian.
“My grandmother who lives in Vlora will feel very happy. I am also very happy to have had the chance to make Albania proud, together with Greece and Cyprus”, Foureira said.
