The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, visited the Besnik Hidri road, which was recently rehabilitated with newly paved asphalt, illumination and sidewalks.
Veliaj said that in the fourth year of his mandate, in during 2019, they will focus on the suburbs of Tirana, renewing the water system, optic fiber internet and new illumination.
“During the first year we had to take care of the most urgent matters. In the second year we worked with Tirana’s central areas. In the third year we worked with the villages that are connected to Tirana. In the fourth years we will start making investments in the suburbs”, he said.
The Mayor adds that now that the urban qualification is done, the property price in the area will be increased. This is why home owners should be interested to take care of it. “We need to preserve this investment so that we go on with the other”, Veliaj said, adding that there are 100 ongoing construction sites in the city.
