The commemoration of the 70th anniversary of liberation will have a
special attention from the government through activities that will be
held in various cities.
Led by Deputy Prime Minister Peleshi, the State Commission organized a meeting with veteran associations, representatives of the academic world and different political groups.
The Deputy Prime Minister explained the government’s philosophy in organizing these events, saying that the government has tried to adopt a different approach for the commemoration of this event.
“Certainly, each activity should focus on the sacrifice of those who fought for the liberation of their country”, Peleshi declared.
Peleshi says that the involvement of youth will be a priority.
“We believe that the Albanian government has the duty to keep alive the values and sacrifices of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War”, Peleshi declared.
The Deputy Prime Minister underlined that the main activities will be related to this philosophy, preserving and passing the history of this war and its values to the youth.
The activities will continue in the months to come through the entire country, and will culminate on November 29th in Tirana.
