USA thanks Defense Minister Mimi Kodheli

“On behalf of our colleagues in Washington and the US Embassy in Tirana, allow me to congratulate you for the extraordinary work conducted during these four years for leading the Defense Ministry of Albania as a close ally of NATO. Under your leadership, our military cooperation improved through the support given to the NATO leadership in Europe and Afghanistan. We pushed forward our joint objectives for increasing the defense spending as NATO members”, says the letter of the US Ambassador.

“It was a pleasure working with you as Defense minister, and we hope to cooperate more in the future. We value your work with the Armed Forces, and also for improving relations between Albania and USA”, the message says.
