The US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, reconfirmed once again the support of her country for Kosovo.
Haley said that Kosovo has progressed since declaring independence. She appealed Belgrade to improve their relations with Prishtina.
“We strongly support Kosovo’s accession in international organizations, including the UN”, Haley declared.
The Kosovo Ambassador to the USA, Vlora Citaku, was present at this meeting. She said that the normalization of the relations with Serbia would happen only when Belgrade recognized the independence of Kosovo, “which is irreversible”, Citaku underlined.
On the other side of the diplomatic trench, the US Foreign Minister of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, criticized Kosovo for not complying with the obligations deriving from the Brussels agreement.
