US Senate blocked Trump’s candidate for Ambassador to Albania

Ann Kavalec was appointed as US Ambassador to Tirana, but Trump’s decision was rejected by the senate.

According to the Senate regulations, the candidacy is returned to the President when it is not approved for 30 days, but the senate can skip this with a consensual vote.
