US Embassy welcomes Mitrovica wall demolition agreement

The US Embassy welcomed the agreement reached for bringing down the northern Mitrovica wall.
The agreement would allow building a beautiful area for pedestrians, which fulfills the agreement of 2015 for free movement of all Kosovo citizens, according to the embassy.
“The US Embassy welcomes the February 4th agreement reached between the Minister of Environment, Ferat Shala, and the Mayor of Northern Mitrovica, Goran Rakic”, the announcement says.
“A lot can be achieved when all parties unite for a better future”, the Embassy concludes.
