US Embassy: “We welcome Venice’s answer. Court should not delay it”

The US Embassy in Tirana welcomed the opinion of the Venice Commission on December 10th, regarding the Vetting Law of Albania.

“The Vetting will be a significant step towards elimination of corruption. The Opinion of the Venice Commission must end any concern regarding the law”, the declaration says.

The US Embassy say they are looking forward to the Constitutional Court verdict regarding this law that has “a wide impact on Albania and its future”.
