US Embassy, message for the death of Albanian military officer in Latvia

The US Embassy in Tirana has reacted after the death of the Albanian military officer, Zarife Hasanaj, in her first mission in Latvia.

The US Embassy expressed their condolences to Hasanaj’s family, and wishes a quick recovery to the other officers who were injured.

“The U.S. extends condolences to the family and friends of Zafire Hasanaj, the soldier killed today while carrying out her duties as part of the NATO mission in Latvia and sympathy to the 2 injured Albanian soldiers. We honor her sacrifice”, the Embassy says in its message.
