The voting in principle of the justice reform was greeted by the US
Embassy in Tirana. The embassy sees the voting as a hope for the
Albanian people, since it shows that politics is dedicated t o make the
reform.
“The US Embassy welcomes the decision of the Special Commission for the Justice Reform, which has admitted in principle the final draft of constitutional amends, prepared based on the recommendations of the Venice Commission. The unanimous support to this decision should give the Albanian people hope that the political leaders are now dedicated to the passing of this reform. The unanimous support is unusual in Albania, and we congratulate the Special Commission for this important step in the justice reform”, says the declaration of the US Embassy.
