The integrated business at the US Chamber of Commerce has addressed 12
questions to the Labor Inspectorate on the registration of employees,
job contracts, leaves, coronary reports and the obligation to employ
people with special needs.
Businesses raised the concern of penalization from inspectors, even in cases when the persons find in companies are visitors or interns.
Irida Qosja, from the Labor Inspectorate, said that everyone should be insured and interns should be easily identified as such.
Another topic was the employment of people with disabilities. Dritan Ylli, Chief Inspector of the Work Inspectorate said that it is a moral duty but also good opportunity of companies to employ people with disabilities.
The Chief Inspector said that online inspection will start soon to avoid abuses.
