US Ambassador visits Justice Minister

On his fifth day as Minister of Justice, Petrit Vasili, from the
Socialist Movement for Integration, met with the US Ambassador to
Tirana, Donald Lu.
The meeting was held behind closed doors, while the press office says the US Ambassador encouraged the Minister to be very active with the judiciary reform, and to turn into one of its architects.
Minister Vasili said that the judiciary reform is in its most important part, the implementation phase. For this reason he said that all actors need to be practical.
He also informed the US Ambassador that the Ministry of Justice sees the “27-law-package” as very important and they be available for the public, which the Justice Minister considered as “biggest ally”.
