The US Ambassador, Donald Lu, started a new tour of meetings with
Albanian politicians, in an effort to give a new chance to the talks
about the justice reform.
This is believed to be the focus of the meeting that he had this Tuesday with the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha.
The meeting was held for almost one hour, but there has been no detail about the talk.
Although the meeting was behind closed doors, Lu and Basha might have discussed about renewing the justice reform dialogue.
This was interrupted two weeks ago when the Democratic Party withdrew from the talks until the government implements the Constitutional Court verdict to take for a review the mandates of MP Valentina Leskaj and MP Rakip Suli.
Mr.Basha declared that the opposition cannot continue dialogue to change the Constitution, if the government refuses to implement the Constitutional Court decision.
