The US Ambassador to Tirana, Donald Lu, visited this Friday the premises of Top Channel, on his request.
Mr.Lu met with the Director of Top Channel, Mrs.Vjollca Hoxha.
Lu and Hoxha discussed the role of media in this particular moment of the Albanian society, when our country is requesting negotiations for EU accession and is preparing for a justice reform.
Mr.Lu and Mr.Hoxha agreed on various issues regarding the matters of digital broadcast and the media market, in which Top Channel and Digitalb have a significant and powerful impact.
During the 60 minute meeting, Mr.Lu congratulated Mrs.Vjollca Hoxha for her new role as CEO of Top Channel, and reconfirmed the US support for the Albanian independent media, and for increasing the role of Albanian women in the public life and society, in politics and business.
