The National Inspectorate of Urban Construction has demolished two
buildings in Krasta, Elbasan. The inspectors continued the demolition
process regardless of the protests by residents.
The residents who have been living for 20 years in these buildings, the intervention is not based on law.
The regional director of National Inspectorate of Urban Construction says that the institution that he leads is only respecting the law. These residents have been expropriated due to the construction of the Elbasan-Librazhd road and have been excluded from the legalization process.
According to the National Inspectorate of Urban Construction, they are only implementing the law and will not stop in front of pressures.
