The National Inspectorate of Urban Construction, in cooperation with the
Ministry of Transportation and the Regional Police have started an
operation for cleaning illegal buildings in the Kalimashi-Morina road.
Local leaders of the National Inspectorate of Urban Construction in Kukes declared that the owners have cooperated and there has been no incident.
“This is an operation undertaken by the central branch of the National Inspectorate of Urban Construction in cooperation with the Ministry of Transportation. As local representatives, we have taken all measures and notified the citizens for these illegal buildings. We want to thank the community for the cooperation, who took measures by removing the objects by themselves”, declared Erion Duraku, responsible of the National Inspectorate of Urban Construction in Kukes.
28 kiosks and platforms will be removed from this area, which were built up to the Morina Customs checkpoint.
