Citizens in Northern Kosovo have welcomed the decision of Kosovo’s Police authorities, which has banned the circulation of unregistered vehicles in the area.
The existence of parallel structures in the northern communes had created chaos and traffic as regards the registration of vehicles.
Citizens and local authorities consider that the new measures have increased road safety.
Unregistered vehicles have been used for almost the past 20 years in Northern Kosovo, They make almost 30% of the general number of vehicles.
