The Commission for Education and Public Information held a hearing session with public university rectors regarding the situation created in the universities after the students’ protest.
They discussed the necessary ways to manage the situation, but they paid special attention to the financial problems of universities.
Arben Gjata, from the Medicine University, said that the protest was a huge success for the student movement. He declared that their requests that could be realized by the hospital were already fulfilled.
According to him, the Medicine Faculty didn’t change any tuition fee since 2013. However, students had demanded a change in the teaching system.
