High school graduates from Tirana with an over 6 average grade have started applying for a chance to register on their favorite university on the Testing National Agency online page, thus avoiding teenagers going to register in person and printed materials, even on private universities.
“Procedures are going well until now. Momentarily only graduates from Tirana region can apply online and after two days, Durrwsi, Kavaja and Kruja will be available to apply. Based on a prepared calendar, other regions will be added in the coming days”, Arben Fagu, head of database in the Testing National Agency said.
41 000 high school graduates will apply for university within ten days, a strict deadline which, according to Fagu, could be extended for major reasons in order not to restrict anyone from applying. Future students will have the possibility to choose between ten faculties and after universities will publish their rankings according to their criteria, winning candidates will have to again apply on the Testing National Agency online page for the final registration.
