The municipality of Tirana has proposed that unfinished buildings should pay the same taxes as finished ones.
The decision aims to push builders to complete interrupted constructions faster. The government has accepted the proposition of the Tirana Municipality and included it in the State Budget 2018.
This was announced by Mayor Erion Veliaj during a meeting between central and local governments.
Veliaj said that the proposition will bring solution to a problem concerning not only to Tirana, but to citizens as well, who keep complaining about these delays.
