The Prosecutor General, Adriatic Llalla, declared that they are
investigating cases that might change the future of the country. The
Prosecution’s declaration came during a meeting with the leaders of the
Prosecution.

While the Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, asked Prosecutors to investigate the Gerdec and January 21st cases, together with tax evasion from high-rank officials and the reports made recently against the former Minister of Defense.
“This is for contributing with our entire capacities in the investigation, and to bring suspended cases to verdicts with sentences, that are very important for the rule of law. Especially the most important cases, for which the justice and citizens expect an answer, and which we cannot allow to turn into a symbol of impunity, such as Gerdeci, January 21st, tax evasion of higher officials and corruption reports”, Tahiri declared.
The Prosecutor General did not give any detail about his declaration. “I have nothing more to add. We have some cases under investigation and we are waiting for the results. We think it will have an impact”, he declared.
