have difficulties finding a job in their profession. INSTAT data show

The Social Welfare Ministry says unemployment among young people has increased because their graduation has not been based on a market study.
“There are some professions that are required by the job market, such as IT, manufacturing or processing technology”, says Genta Prodani, Director of Employment Policies.
Gezim Tushe, sociology expert, explains that massive education has caused this huge unemployment rate among youth. They cannot be hired in the government administration but should adopt their abilities with the job market.
“We are facing a boomerang today, with too many students graduated in public and private universities with a diversity of professions, but they find difficulties in the job market. Many of them think their problem will be resolved in the public administration, which is not a cow to be milked by anyone. I think the two ways remaining are orienting them with new abilities and adopt with the market, or immigration”, says sociologist Gezim Tushe.
The government is working to develop professional education and encourage employment programs for which this year they have granted 270 million ALL.
