The hunger strike protesters started giving the first signs of fatigue
on the fourth day of protest. With this hunger strike they demand the
government to implement some court verdicts regarding their return to
past public administration jobs.
Two of the protesters were sent at the Mother Theresa Hospital Center, due to the weak physical conditions.
The strike organizers expressed their concern, saying that the hospital authority not only didn’t show the right care, but they refused to return the protesters to the tent with their ambulances, obliging them to use private ambulances.
Some Democratic Party women visited the protesters during the day, and asked for an immediate reaction of the Prime Minister.
“They are sacrificing with a sublime act for something that brings food on their children’s tables. The man in that building (Prime Minister) should do something, because he is bound by law. They have been fired unfairly, and they represent all of those who have been fired unfairly”, declared the Parliament Member Jozefina Topalli.
The relatives of the protesters stay close to the tents, confirming that the strike will continue, although their health condition is deteriorating.
