Two new candidates for the HCJ

After the Parliament discharged Cefa and Lelcaj from the High Council of
Justice, the Socialist Parliamentary Group decided this Monday for the
two other candidacies.
Mrs.Albana Shtylla, General Secretary of the Parliament, will be the only female member of the HCJ.
Shtylla has worked at the Civil Service for 20 years. She worked at the Ministry of Labor and Social Matters during the Democratic Party mandate for eight years. She was promoted as Director at the Codification Directory of the Ministry of Justice, then led by the DP Minister, Eduard Halimi.
The other name is Vangjel Kosta, former member of the Supreme Court for the period 1993-2000.
Kosta was then proposed by President Bamir Topi at the Constitutional Court, but his mandate was rejected by the Democratic Party.
He has been working for the past 14 years at the Legal Office “FALAS”. Both candidacies have never been members of any political party.
