An accident involving two vehicles took place this Friday night at the
Tirana-Durres highway and caused the death of both drivers.
The license plates of the cars involved in the accident are AA 889 AY and AA 066 CN, but the names of the victims have not been released by the authorities yet.
Reports say that one of the vehicles was split in two, and a fire engine rushed to the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the collision was caused by excessive speed in combination with wet asphalt and darkness.
