A Turkish citizen took more than 100.000 EUR from three Albanian
businessmen, one of them from Kosovo, and disappeared without leaving
trace.
The Prosecution of Tirana started an investigation for Yasin Pekdemir, accused of fraud with serious consequences.
The three businessmen testified that Pekdemir had shown them molds of plastic materials that could be produced. After the molds appeared to be faulty, Pekdemir would take them more money to replace them. After collecting more than 100.000 EUR, he disappeared without a trace.
Investigations suggest that the molds were intentionally sent faulty, so that the work process had already started. Then the fraud, for repairing them.
The Turkish citizen could face up to 10 years in prison, if caught.
