Turkish flags were removed from poles in Prizren, Kosovo, and were placed on the ground.

The same thing happened on November 28th, Albania’s independence day from the Ottoman Empire, when a group of young men removed the Turkish flags and posted the video on internet.

On the Independence Day of Kosovo, they motivated their actions by saying that this celebration does not belong to Turkey.

The action was strongly condemned by the Kosovo Foreign Ministry, which calls it a vandal act by irresponsible people, whose purpose is to damage the democratic and multi-ethnic state of Kosovo.

The Ministry wants those responsible to be brought to justice. Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj communicated with the Turkish Ambassador in Prishtina, telling her that the relations between Kosovo and Turkey are excellent and such actions will not damage them.
