Turkey has asked the Albanian government to not allow Turkish schools in
Albania to keep the flag of their country. This request was immediately
sent to the Foreign and Education Ministries.
“This is an administrative request that is sent to the regional education directories regarding a concern of the Turkish embassy for the usage of their national flag in their institutions. The Embassy has requested for the flag to not be used, since they are the ones who authorize its usage”, said Plarent Ndreca, General Secretary of the Ministry of Education.
According to Ndreca, the education institutions need to respect the licensing criteria ad this request from the Turkish embassy.
The Turkish education institutions are known for having students of good quality.
