The last 24 hours have marked massive movements in the Kapshtica customs
checkpoint. After visiting Albania for Easters, the emigrants from
Greece have returned to the neighboring country.
Since the celebration ended this Monday, there have been problems with the people crossing the checkpoint. Dozens of vehicles and buses of international lines have stayed for two hours blocked in the checkpoint, before approaching the tolls for the documentation.
The cause for these delays is mostly because the Greek side of the border has reduced the number of tolls and the work is going on very slowly. After noon, the Greek side has worked with two tolls in the entrance, creating this way several delays.
The same situation has continued even today, with several vehicles flocking the border, and it seems that the Greek authorities have no intention to take any measure.
