The town of Puka lives in terror by the memory of an armed robbery that
took place this Sunday, leaving five people wounded, some of them
children.
Residents of this northern town say that the state must find the authors as soon as possible so that this doesn’t happen again.
The streets of this town are empty as soon as night falls, and police officers are seen more rarely. The situation is even more frightening when you approach to the scene, where there is no police officer to be seen.
Few vehicles travel around by night, and don’t stop even to show us where it took place exactly. Others say behind the cameras that they travel armed, fearing the reappearance of the robbers.

Residents say that several robberies have taken place in this road during 1997 and 1998, but never in the Dushakeq area, since it is not appropriate to hide and rin.
