Greece and Albania have just finalized an agreement for the international transportation of passengers.
The law frame was discussed for two days in Athens, where experts from both Ministries met about the creation of a new legislation that will enter in effect soon.
The Head of the Albanian Commission, Arian Korpa, declared that both parties discussed about creating and modernizing the legal base for international transportation and for making an entire reformation of this sector.
Korpa said that the Albanian commission asked an adoption of the legislation with the new reality and unifying it with the European Union countries. It should be modernized and structured by clear rules by increasing the service quality and by reducing the high informality.
Korpa says that the agreement with the Greek side is done for protecting Albanian operators and for increasing services.
