“Transition”, Nishani: “No one should be attacked.”

The Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, declared that the institutions
should not be involved in the power transition inertia, and should not
be influenced by the views of the new Prime Minister.
In a meeting with the Governor of the Bank, the Head of the Supreme Court, the General Prosecution, the Head of the High Council of Justice and the Inspector of the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets, Nishani declared that the constitutional institutions of our country are now consolidated.
“We are in a serious time for our European future. The structural reforms should not be interrupted. The institutions should have a guaranteeing role for the power transition. No one should be attacked for the power transition”, Nishani declared.
The Head of the State demanded more dedication for a state that is based on law, and asked from the institutions to continue with their work to serve to the Albanian citizens.
