Training Customs and Tax officers

“On April, May and June, all inspectors from the Customs, Tax Office and National Food Agency, together with other structures whose work is related to businesses, will follow this intensive course against fiscal illiteracy, which might sound a bit brutal as a term, but that’s what it is”, Rama declared.

The government leader guaranteed private businesses that there will be no more arbitrary fines.

“It is a shame for our country and an extraordinary damage to our society that we haven’t had a single case in who knows how many years of businessmen being presented as a role model for success. On the contrary, they avoid attention, fearing that tax officers will be at their door the very next day, and maybe even organized crime, with each of them trying to rob them”, the Prime Minister declared.

The Minister of Finances, Shkelqim Cani, declared that the new administration will guarantee safety to business.

“The government of the Alliance for European Albania is determined for a fiscal administration different from what we had in the past, with inspectors caring only about their own pockets. Our program is prepared for an innovative approach to businesses”, Cani declared.

Present in the ceremony was the Minister of Integration, Klajda Gjosha, who declared that the European Union integration is impossible without this priocess.

“Without educated and trained people, Albania will not be able to compete in this limitless global economy. The process that we are starting today should be seen from this point of view. One step ahead in improving the public administration. One step ahead in improving the public services for the Albanian citizens and business. One step ahead in the integration process”, Gjosha declared.

After the training, the officers will undergo a test which will decide the continuity of their jobs.
