Tracks of ancient towns found near Prespa Lake

A group of archaeologists and divers from the Institution of Archaeology
have uncovered facts that residential areas around the Prespa lake date
as early as 3100 years ago.
The 100% Albanian expedition has found underwater objects that can be compared with others found beyond the Macedonian and Greek borders.
Since Prespa has not been affected by aggressive natural elements, and that has made it possible for the objects to remain in a pretty good shape.
“These are not the first areas for this zone but Prespa is very important as an archeologic site, because it involves a wide area. We have inspected 7.6 hectares, and the habitation site is very large, for its time”, says dr.Adrian Anastasi.
