Tourism showed positive balance for first six months of 2017

The Bank of Albania confirmed that tourism has had a positive balance for the first six months of the year.
Despite the prolonged political crisis, this season has collected 16 million EUR than one year ago.
722 million EUR have entered Albania by travelers for these six months, while 567 million have moved out by Albanians traveling abroad.
Tourism has started increasing since 2014, according to the Bank of Albania.
The tendency is expected to remain positive during the third trimester as well, which has a higher number of tourist entrances. In fact, this trimester is the most important for Albania, since summer is the main season for incoming tourists.
